What is Kayan?
Kayan is a cloud ERP for commerce brands. It connects Shopify, Amazon, in-store POS and wholesale to one live stock picture and one double-entry ledger, so every order, payment, shipment, purchase and pay run posts its own accounting the moment it happens. It works in any base currency with multi-currency and VAT built in, ships local payment and shipping rails for Egypt today (Kashier, Bosta), replaces the spreadsheet and the separate accounting app, and runs on web, iOS and Android. Kayan is built by Founders Bridge.

Three jobs. One system. Nothing to reconcile.
Every commerce brand juggles the same three things. Kayan does them on the same live numbers, so nothing needs stitching together at month-end.
Every channel lands in one order list.
Shopify orders arrive by webhook in seconds. Gateway payments and their fees, courier pickups, deliveries, failed attempts and returns attach to the order they belong to. POS, wholesale and Amazon orders sit in the same list and draw on the same stock.
- Two-way Shopify sync for orders, customers, products and inventory
- Gateway payments matched to orders with their fees — Kashier built in for Egypt
- Courier tracking from pickup to return, COD collected and shipping costs in the books — Bosta built in for Egypt
Every sale, fee and refund is already a journal entry.
There is no month-end batch. The moment an order ships, a purchase order is received or payroll is paid, Kayan writes the balanced double-entry lines — COGS, VAT and gateway fees in the right accounts. Your P&L is a view, not a project.
- Double-entry ledger generated as you operate, reversible and audited
- VAT and withholding tax on B2B documents, handled per order
- P&L, balance sheet and cash flow always current — drill to any entry
One number per SKU, across every warehouse, store and partner.
Warehouses, stores and consignment partners share one live quantity per SKU. Sales reserve it, transfers move it, purchase orders replenish it, and reorder points watch real sell-through — so you never sell what you don't have.
- Multi-location stock with two-stage transfers and audited adjustments
- Weighted-average valuation that reconciles straight to the balance sheet
- Reorder suggestions from real days of cover, pushed back to Shopify
Ten modules. One ledger. One stock picture.
Every module writes to the same books and the same stock, so nothing needs reconciling later.
An analyst that reads every number, every morning.
Kayan opens on what needs you today — cash sitting in dead stock, a ledger that stopped tying to its subledgers, wholesale orders waiting, channels growing or slipping — and says what to do about it.
Forecasts demand & cash
Projects sales, stock needs and cash position weeks ahead so you plan instead of react.
Catches problems early
Flags margin dips, looming stockouts and rising costs before they hit your bottom line.
Explains your numbers
Turns dashboards into plain language — what changed, why, and what it means for you.
Recommends the next move
Suggests reorder quantities, budget shifts and pricing actions you can apply in one click.
The whole platform, in your pocket.
Not a cut-down companion app — the same live orders, stock and approvals, plus push notifications and geofenced clock-in for teams on the floor.
Why brands pick Kayan over Odoo, Zoho and QuickBooks.
They are good products. None of them was built around Shopify, POS, wholesale and manufacturing on one ledger, with cash on delivery and local payment, shipping and tax rails built in where you sell. We scored every comparison category by category — including where they win.
Start free. Pay when it pays for itself.
Every plan is the full platform — you scale seats, channels and intelligence as the business grows. No implementation project, no per-module licences.

What exactly is Kayan?
Kayan is a cloud ERP built for commerce brands: orders from Shopify, POS, wholesale and Amazon, multi-location inventory, manufacturing, payroll and real double-entry accounting in one platform, with an AI analyst on top. One login, one source of truth.
Is Kayan an ERP or an accounting app?
Both, by design. Kayan runs the operation — orders, stock, production, people — and every one of those events posts its own double-entry journal entry, so the accounting is a by-product of operating rather than a separate job.
Which currencies does Kayan support?
Any base currency, with multi-currency for businesses that buy or sell across borders — FX is carried into the books and reporting stays in your base currency. Kayan started in Egypt, so EGP, Egyptian VAT and Egyptian payroll rules are first-class, and plan pricing is quoted in EGP.
Which payment and shipping providers does it connect to?
Shopify payments, discounts and fulfillments arrive through the Shopify sync, and Amazon Vendor and Seller Central are polled directly. For local rails, Kashier (cards, wallets, payment links) and Bosta (shipping, cash on delivery, returns) are built in for Egypt and wired into the order and the books, so gateway fees, COD collections and courier costs post automatically. Other gateways and couriers are recorded as payment and shipping methods with their own clearing and fee accounts.
Is Kayan available in Arabic?
This website is available in Arabic and English. The Kayan app interface is currently in English.
How does the Shopify integration work?
Kayan syncs with Shopify in both directions — orders, customers, products, and inventory — using webhooks for real-time updates, with payment gateways, discounts, and fulfillments carried into your books automatically.
Do I need an accountant to use it?
No. Kayan writes the double-entry records for you as you operate. Accountants love the output — but you don't need one to keep correct books day to day.
Can it handle manufacturing?
Yes — bills of materials, work orders, WIP costing, and capacity-aware MRP planning sized by actual demand.
How long does setup take?
Connecting Shopify, payments, and shipping takes minutes; Kayan pulls your history and keeps it live. Most teams are operating in Kayan the same week they start.
How is my data protected?
Strict multi-tenant isolation, custom role-based access, and a complete audit trail on every change — the same guarantees the trust section above describes, because they're product features, not marketing.
Does Kayan handle B2B and wholesale orders?
Yes — customer accounts with multiple delivery sites, sales-rep commission, and consignment partners who settle on sell-through instead of shipment. Every order still posts real receivables and COGS.
Does Kayan do payroll?
Yes — employee contracts with salary, hourly, or commission pay, income tax and social insurance as a percentage or flat amount (with recommended defaults for Egypt), and pay runs that fold in overtime and deductions automatically, with a bank export file when you're ready to pay.
What reports come built in?
Twenty-seven, across six categories: finance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement and forecast, VAT return, order and SKU profitability, COGS breakdown, reconciliation, journal entries, chart of accounts, accounting periods, cash flow log), sales (AR aging, B2B invoices, run rate by channel), inventory (run rate and days on hand, dead stock, stock levels, inventory valuation), procurement (AP aging, supplier scorecard), manufacturing (demand forecast, production schedule, WIP valuation, manufacturer overdue) and people (commission periods). They read live data, so there is nothing to refresh or export.
What does Kayan automate?
Two kinds of work. Event-driven: every order, purchase, payment, pay run and stock movement posts its own double-entry journal and pushes stock to your connected channels as it happens. Scheduled: about thirty background jobs run on their own cadence — low-stock sweeps, invoice-due and overdue-receivable reminders, MRP and demand-forecast recomputes, fixed-asset depreciation, loan interest accrual, attendance close, Amazon PO polling, Shopify stock reconciliation and payment settlement matching among them.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — Kayan is on iOS and Android, and it's the full platform, not a companion app, plus push notifications and geofenced clock-in for attendance.
