Common questions
How does SKU mapping work across channels?
Kayan matches each Shopify variant to an internal product by SKU, so the same code you use in purchase orders and BOMs is what deducts stock on a sale. If a variant has no SKU, Kayan falls back to the channel's variant ID so nothing goes untracked.
How do transfers post to the books?
A transfer moves stock in two stages — out of the source location as in-transit, then into the destination once received — with a matching stock movement at each stage. Partial receipts are supported, so part of a shipment can land while the rest stays in transit.
Do you support consignment stock?
Yes. Consignment partners are a location like any other, so stock you've placed with them stays visible, valued, and included in reorder planning until it sells or is returned.
