Is the Shopify sync real-time?
Yes — orders, products, and fulfillments arrive by webhook within seconds. Inventory is the one thing that syncs both ways, so a correction in Kayan pushes back to Shopify too.
Do payment fees and refunds show up in my books?
Yes — gateway fees and refunds post as their own journal lines matched to the original order, not lumped into a single number.
What happens with cash-on-delivery orders?
COD orders flow through the same order, fulfillment, and refund accounting as any other order — if a Bosta delivery is completed, fails, or is returned, the books update with it.
Does Kayan connect to Amazon?
Yes — to Amazon Vendor Central, the first-party (1P) relationship where Amazon issues you purchase orders and you supply them. Kayan pulls those purchase orders in automatically and helps you reconcile Amazon's remittance payments against them. Selling on the Amazon marketplace through Seller Central (3P) is not supported.
Does Kayan handle Amazon payments or set my Amazon prices?
No. Kayan does not move money and does not change your prices on Amazon. It reads your purchase orders, and it reconciles the remittance report you export from Vendor Central against them in your books — Amazon pays you directly, exactly as it does today.
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?
The integration has been tested against the Egypt marketplace on Amazon's EU endpoint. Other marketplaces and regions can be configured when you connect — contact support if you need one.
